CMMC, or the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification, is a set of standards designed to ensure that companies handling sensitive government information have adequate cybersecurity measures in place. The certification process involves a rigorous evaluation of an organization’s security practices, policies, and procedures to determine their compliance with these standards.

Achieving CMMC Level 1 certification is a significant milestone for our company, as it demonstrates our dedication to protecting our customers’ data and our commitment to maintaining a high level of cybersecurity awareness across all areas of our organization.

Additionally, it enables Coordinate Industries Ltd. to begin working with US Department of Defense companies on a wider scale, knowing their data will be protected.

Over the past year, our IT department worked to meet the requirements for CMMC Level 1 certification, implementing new security protocols, and updating existing ones to meet the stringent standards set forth by the certification process.
